Skate-a-Thon
Cal Skate Roller Derby is raising money for the team and partnering with San Luis Obispo Land Conservancy! Please reach out to sponsor a Cal Skate skater. Donations are per lap or donate a flat amount! 50% will go to CSRD and 50% will go to The Land conservancy!

There are many paths one can take at Cal Skate Roller Derby. Even if you prefer not to skate, there are many ways you can support us!
Skater
Interested in being a roller derby skater? No experience required. We have a fully integrated New Skater program designed to teach you everything you need to know about roller derby and how to skate like the pros.
Official
Without our referees and officials, roller derby would be chaos! Cal Skate is seeking people interested in becoming a skating or non-skating official. Officiating is also a great way to get a feel for roller derby and find out if it is right for you.
Volunteer
Cal Skate loves our volunteers! We are always open to new people with varying skills to help us succeed. Volunteering can be photography, merchandise sales, ticket booth attendant half-time entertainment, and much more.
About Us
Founded in 2010, Cal Skate Roller Derby is an all-women’s, skater-operated, flat track roller derby league from Santa Maria, California. We are strong, devoted, do-it-yourself women from all walks of life. Our league prides itself in upholding the integrity of roller derby as a real sport, as well as providing entertainment for the public.
This organization’s members strive to be positive roll-models in our community. It is important for us to uphold high standards of conduct on and off the track.
